'Rathnam' first review out: Vishal starrer receives rave reviews from industry insiders
Vishal is all set for his next release 'Rathnam', which is releasing in theatres tomorrow (Apr 26). The reservations for the film are going strong, and the action entertainer is releasing on plenty of screens. With only hours left until the film's First Day First Show (FDFS), the initial review for 'Rathnam' has come out. Many industry insiders attended the special premiere of the film.

Tamil filmmaker Yoagandran Raako took to X (Twitter) to share his review of 'Rathnam'. "#Rathnam Director Hari is back to form. Everything from @iYogiBabu comedy, Amma sentiment to high-octane action sequences worked well to make it an engaging Masala entertainer. Good to watch with family. Another hit for @VishalKOfficial", the filmmaker wrote, as he lauded the film.


According to Yoagandran's review, 'Rathnam' is going to be an action-adventure packed with a mix of emotions from director Hari. Meanwhile, fans of Vishal are thrilled over the over the positive review ahead of the film release.

'Rathnam' marks Vishal's third collaboration with director Hari after theirsuperhit films 'Thamirabharani' and 'Poojai', and the successful combo is set to strike a hattrick. Priya Bhavani Shankar plays the female lead, while the supporting cast includes Yogi Babu, Samuthirakani, Gautham Menon, and Murali Sharma. Devi Sri Prasad scored the music, while the cinematography and editing were handled by M Sukumar and TS Jay respectively. 'Rathnam' is releasing in Tamil and Telugu languages, and the film's opening day collection is expected to be better than Vishal's last release 'Mark Antony'.
