Chiyaan Vikram's 'Veera Dheera Sooran' faces trouble for its violent first-look poster
A complaint has been filed against Vikram in the poster controversy of 'Veera Dheera Sooran' which has created a stir.

Chiyaan Vikram has joined hands with director Su Arun Kumar for the actor's 62nd film, and the upcoming film has been titled 'Veera Dheera Sooran'. The title teaser of the film was unveiled a few days back on the occasion of Chiyaan Vikram's birthday, and the makers posted a first-look poster following the title teaser. Chiyaan Vikram was spotted with a sharp knife in both his hands, and it promised a raw action film for the audience. Unexpectedly, the violent poster of 'Veera Dheera Sooran' turned out to be a problem for Chiyaan Vikram as a social activist lodged a complaint against the actor for promoting violence through his movie poster.

A complaint has been filed in the Chennai Police Commissioner's office that the 'Veera Dheera Sooran' poster is inciting violence among youth. Police take action against youths cutting cakes with knives, reels posted with a knife, and pictures posted on social media promoting violence. But now Vikram is working to spread the wrong idea among the public, especially the youth, despite holding a knife in both hands in the poster of 'Veera Dheera Sooran'. Therefore a social activist Selvam has demanded in his complaint action against Chiyaan Vikram, director, and cameraman under the Indian Penal Code and under the Information Technology Prevention Act.

Recently, Vijay faced a similar allegation for a lyric promoting violence in the actor's 'GOAT' first single 'Whistle Podu' composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
