BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine M Sport Pro launched at Rs 62.6 lakh: What’s special

BMW India today announced the launch of the BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine M Sport Pro edition in the Indian market. The luxury car is locally manufactured at BMW’s plant in Chennai and is priced at Rs. 62.6 lakh (ex-showroom). The car will be available in limited units and interested customers can book it online or by visiting their nearest dealership.

In terms of design, the M Sport Pro features a more aggressive design.It gets a blacked-out kidney grille, dark tint around the headlamps, and a rear diffuser which is painted in glossy black. The luxury sedan is offered in four metallic colours – white, grey, black, and blue. Moving inside, the M Headliner Anthracite upholstery is offered as standard and gets illuminated door sill plates, and additional ambient lighting in the form of illuminated contour strips on the back of the front seats.

In terms of features, the sedan gets adaptive LED headlights, a panoramic sunroof, three-zone climate control, a curved display for the infotainment, a fully digital instrument cluster, connected car tech, wireless CarPlay/Android Auto, 16-speaker Harmon/Kardon sound system, surround-view camera and more.

Talking about the powertrain, the sedan is powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo petrol engine that puts out 258bhp of power and 400Nm of torque. The engine comes paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and BMW claims the car can sprint from 0 to 100kmph in 6.2 seconds. Safety-wise, it gets six airbags, stability control, an electric parking brake with auto hold, ISOFIX mounts and much more.
