MG Motor India has launched the 100-year Special Edition versions of its popular models, Comet, Astor, Hector and ZS EV in India. While the models remain the same in terms of specs, features, dimensions and performance, they do get some styling tweaks such as the introduction of ‘Evergreen’ exterior featuring a starry black finished roof and dark elements overall.
The new edition is inspired by British racing history spanning over a century.
Other changes include the addition of a ‘100-Year Edition’ badging on the tailgate along with a blacked-out theme in interiors, ‘100-Year Edition’ logo also embroidered in the front headrests and an ‘Evergreen’ themed head unit with customizable widget colour.
Speaking of the prices, the Comet EV Exclusive FC variant comes at a price of Rs 9.40 lakh, ex-showroom. The ZS EV, on the other hand, carries a price tag of Rs 24.18 lakh, ex-showroom, for the Exclusive Plus trim. The Astor Sharp Pro and Hector Sharp Pro variants are priced at Rs 14.81 and Rs 21.20 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom.

The Gloster has been skipped from this list, probably due to the fact the model is due to get a facelift later this year. The manufacturer has also not specified how many units of these special edition models will be available and when the deliveries will commence.
In other developments, MG sold 4,485 units in India last month, witnessing a slight 1.45 percent decline from the 4,551 units sold in the corresponding month last year.
