Pune-based electric vehicle manufacturer iVoomi has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of the JeetX ZE, priced at Rs 80,000, ex-showroom. As per the company, this electric scooter comes with a range of up to 170 km and will be offered in three variants. The EV will be available in eight colour options to choose from including the likes of Nardo Gray, Utra Red and Urban Green.

The JeetX ZE houses a 3 kWh battery pack mated to a BLDC motor rated for 2.1 kW peak power. This combo can propel this EV at a top speed of 57 kmph, ideal for city use. Speaking of the charging time, it takes around 5.5 hours to fully juice up the battery while a 50 percent battery charge can be achieved in under 2.5 hours. It gets a 7A home wall-compatible charger. The battery comes with a warranty of five years or 50,000 kms, whichever first.

The suspension duties will be carried out by 75mm telescopic forks in the front and 60 mm spring load unit at the rear. Stopping power comes from a disc brake on the wheel and a drum unit on the rear. Other notable features include anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic stability control (ESC), regenerative braking technology, and geo-fencing among others. It also gets a digital instrument console with infographics for distance-to-empty, turn-by-turn navigation and Bluetooth connectivity with SMS and call alerts.
