Tata Ace EV 1000 debuts with 161 km range, payload capacity to carry even a Punch SUV: Details

Tata Motors has debuted the all-new Ace EV 1000, further bolstering its e-cargo mobility solutions. This zero-emission mini-truck boasts a higher rated payload of 1 tonne, almost equal to the kerb weight of the Punch SUV, and an impressive certified range of 161 km on a single charge.
This model is equipped with a 27kW motor delivering 130 Nm of peak torque, the Ace EV 1000 offers pickup and grade-ability, ensuring smooth operation even in fully loaded conditions, a statement from the company said.
Tata says that the Ace EV 1000 is poised to meet the evolving demands of various sectors including FMCG, beverages, paints & lubricants, LPG & dairy. Backed by an extensive network of over 150 Electric Vehicle Support Centres nationwide, the Ace EV features advanced technology such as a battery management system, Fleet Edge telematics system, and robust aggregates, ensuring optimal uptime.

The Ace EV 1000 will be available with versatile cargo decks and will be accessible at all Tata Motors commercial vehicle dealerships nationwide. Powered by the EVOGEN powertrain, the Ace EV promises a 7-year battery warranty and a 5-year comprehensive maintenance package. Its battery cooling system and regenerative braking system ensure safe, all-weather operations, with regular and fast charging capabilities for maximum uptime.
