Gandhinagar: As the campaigning for the Lok Sabha election drew to a close in
Gujarat on Sunday, Kshatriya leaders of the
BJP issued a statement, appealing to the agitating community to show magnanimity by supporting the party in the election.
The statement, jointly issued by leaders Bhupendrasinh Chudasama, I K Jadeja, Pradipsinh Jadeja, Balvantsinh Rajput, Mahendra Sarvaiya and others, said that Parshottam Rupala’s statement has hurt the sentiments of Kshatriya BJP leaders and workers as well.
“Rupala has apologized several times and all of us must strive to strengthen PM Modi’s resolve to make India a developed nation. We urge you to vote for the BJP,” the leaders said in the statement.
Union minister Rupala is the BJP’s candidate from the Rajkot LS seat. tnn
