Ajmer: The district bar association filed a petition to halt the shooting of Hindi movie Jolly LLB part 3 underway inside the campus of divisional railway manager (DRM) office in Ajmer on Monday. The petitioner alleged that the film seeks to undermine judicial integrity.
Based on the petition filed by Chandrabhan Singh Rathod, president of the Ajmer district bar association in the court of civil judge (Ajmer North), notices were issued on Tuesday morning to film actors Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi, film producer Subhash Kapoor, Ajmer's DRM, district collector and SHO of the Civil Lines police station.
They were told to appear for a hearing min the case at 11.30am on the same day. Advocates representing the district collector, Ajmer DRM and Civil Lines SHO appeared in court at the scheduled time, but no one appeared on behalf of the film actors and the movie producer.
The court then adjourned the hearing to Wednesday and directed that a second copy of the notices be pasted at the premises of Ajmer DRM building where the film shooting is taking place. The film actors and crew members are currently in Ajmer and Pushkar.
