HDK vows support for brother Revanna

JD(S) state president HD Kumaraswamy on Wednesday reiterated that he would stand by his brother, HD Revanna, who has been arrested on charges of kidnapping but insisted his nephew and Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna will have to face the full might of the law.
Reacting to deputy chief minister DK Shivakumar labelling him the “king of blackmailers”, the former CM said the Congress state president “was exploiting the situation for personal gain”.
He also accused chief minister Siddaramaiah and home minister G Parameshwara of “neglecting their duty” in safeguarding the survivors of the sex scandal allegedly involving Prajwal, highlighting that they were housed at a govt guest house. “Instead of getting justice for the women, the Congress govt is protecting miscreants who distributed the pen drives,” Kumaraswamy said.
