Bengaluru: A 28-year-old engineer who had come to the city from Kalaburagi in search of a job, allegedly died by suicide Thursday after jumping from the fifth floor of his paying guest accommodation in Whitefield.
Police suspect Arun Kumar was upset because he was unemployed. “A BE graduate, Kumar came to Bengaluru Wednesday and lived in the PG at Ambedkar Nagar.
At 11am, he jumped from the fifth floor and died instantly. We didn’t find any death note in his room,” an officer said.
Kumar lost his father and his mother is not in a condition to travel, police said.
