Dibrugarh shines with impressive pass percent

Dibrugarh: The students of Dibrugarh have made their district proud by recording an impressive pass percentage of 91.37% in the Class 12 Board Examination, the results of which were declared on Thursday.
According to the results, in the Arts stream, 6319 out of the total 6777 candidates in Dibrugarh district managed to pass, with 1734 students passing with 1st division, 2261 with 2nd division and 2324 with 3rd division.The pass percentage stood at 93.24%.
In the Science stream, 2345 out of 2530 candidates passed, with 1480 students scoring a 1st division, 584 securing a 2nd division and 281 obtaining a 3rd division. The pass percentage for the Science stream stood at 92.69%.
In the Commerce stream, 1142 candidates appeared for the exams, out of which 1007 students passed. Among the successful candidates, 452 achieved a 1st division, 354 received a 2nd division and 201 received a 3rd division. The pass percentage recorded was 88.18%.
