Ulfa ex-rebel held with US-made pistol in Tinsukia
Dibrugarh: A former Ulfa militant was arrested with a US-made pistol and 12 rounds of live ammunition, in a joint operation by police and the Army, in Doomdooma area of Tinsukia district on Wednesday.
Dhan Bora was reportedly on his way to sell the firearm to an unidentified buyer when he was intercepted by the joint forces atop the Doomdooma bridge on NH-37.
