HYDERABAD: Chief minister A Revanth Reddy on Sunday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi, before coming to Telangana to seek votes in the Lok Sabha election, should first explain to the people why he insulted the process of formation of Telangana in Parliament, why he did not give steel plant, rail coach factory, ITIR, national status to Palamuru-Rangareddy lift irrigation scheme.
Participating in road shows and street corner meetings in LB Nagar and Malkajgiri constituency in Greater Hyderabad, Revanth said Modi has failed to give three crore jobs per year, double the income of farmers, deposit 15 lakh into bank accounts of the poor and did not give a paisa for relief to victims of GHMC floods in 2020-21. Expel BJP from Telangana, he added.
“PM Modi will come to Telangana in a couple of days. With what face will he ask for votes? The BJP govt has not constructed RoBs and RuBs in the Malkajgiri due to which commuters have to wait for long durations at railway crossings. Employees of railways, RTC and other govt departments should remove Modi from the job (PM post) to save their jobs and reservations as BJP is bent on scrapping reservations,” he said.
What has BJP candidate Eatala Rajender done for Malkajgiri Lok Sabha constituency, Revanth asked.
BRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao, instead of telling people what the previous govt did for them, has started abusing the Congress govt. “KCR has struck a deal with the BJP and is supporting the saffron party to get a bail for his daughter K Kavitha who is in jail in liquor scam case,” Revanth said.
