Congress deceived people & speaking about justice: KTR

Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao on Sunday said the people of Telangana, feeling betrayed by Congress over the past four months, are ready to deliver a resounding message in the Lok Sabha elections.
Taking to X, KTR characterised Rahul Gandhi’s recent ‘Jana Jatara’ public gathering at Tukkuguda as nothing more than a “festival of lies and broken promises”.“Rahul Gandhi misled the public with six promises prior to the assembly elections and is now staging another theatrical performance in the name of justice. After deceiving the people of Telangana, he speaks of justice,” said KTR.
Claiming that Congress govt is responsible for the alarming rate of farmer suicides in the state, KTR said that the unfulfilled promises of Congress resulted in the deaths of 209 farmers. “The Congress pledged paradise before the elections, but instead, people are experiencing pure hell,” he added. tnn
