Congress leaders’ understanding on Kaleshwaram project very low: KCR
Hyderabad: Lashing out at Congress leaders for their lack of understanding about the Kaleshwaram project, BRS chief and former CM K Chandrasekhar Rao said that the Kaleshwaram project, launched by the BRS govt, stands as a crucial asset for Telangana, particularly the districts in the north. “Of the total 300 pillars and 280 gates of the project, only three pillars have been sunk,” he said.
KCR criticised the scrutiny faced by the project, stating, “Minor errors are being excessively magnified.” Regarding the Mid Manair bund incident, KCR said, “Heavy rainfall occurred and the Mid Manair Bund got washed away. The Bund was constructed by the current minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy’s company. We did not book a case as our focus was on completing the Kaleshwaram works.” tnn
