Hyderabad: Global healthcare innovation platform VentureBlick has forged a strategic partnership with Telangana govt-led start-up incubator T-Hub to assist Indian healthcare innovators expand their footprint globally.
The alliance is aimed at creating an ecosystem that promotes innovation, knowledge exchange between countries, and marketing support for healthcare startups based in India, VentureBlick said.
The collaboration aims to launch ‘Discovery,’ touted as the world’s first healthcare collaboration platform, to facilitate this internationalisation effort. VentureBlick founder & CEO Chris Lee said the idea was to champion cross-border collaboration and an idea born in India could well revolutionise healthcare in Korea, China, or Europe.
Pointing out that India imports 70-80% of its medical devices, VentureBlick’s head of operations for South Asia, Dr Kailash Jialdasani, said: “We want to empower Indian entrepreneurs to create innovative healthcare tech not only for India but also for the world.” tnn
