Woman, 2 men held in ₹15 lakh robbery case at C-scheme
Jaipur: Ashok Nagar police on Thursday arrested a woman as kingpin, her male beau and a man in a robbery case of Rs 15 lakh. Police said that woman was living a lavish lifestyle and had planned the robbery almost 10 days prior to its final execution. Police are searching for two others involved in this robbery. Police have arrested Shipra Gupta (36), Mukesh Gupta(25) and Manjit Singh Rathore (25) in the case.

The robbery had taken place on April 24 at an office located on Yudhister Marg in C-Scheme, close to a high-security area. Two assailants had looted Rs 15 lakh after brandishing a gun at two-women employees.
Digant Anand, deputy commissioner of police (South), said, “Since the robbery took place we were suspicious towards a woman employee identified as Shipra Gupta (36). At the time when the two robbers had entered and pointed guns, she was sipping water. By the time our team reached the spot she started working on the computer. A few other things made us a little suspicious towards her. Thus, she was detained and taken for interrogation.”
“The woman is from a middle-class family and she was divorced about one and a half years ago. After 3 months of separation from her husband, she started working in the office located in Kesari Bhawan building of C-Scheme. During this period, she got acquainted with another accused Mukesh Gupta. Both were in a relationship. The robbery was planned almost 10 days prior to its execution. Both had thought to live a luxurious life,” said Anand. TNN
