Woman, paramour held for murder of husband

Jaipur: Two days after the recovery of a man’s body from a sewage tank, Kardhani station police in Jaipur on Thursday arrested a woman and her beau on charges of murder. Police said the woman wanted to spend her life with her male companion of the past four years.
According to police, locals residing at the colony near Sarna Dungar complained of foul smell from the sewage tank on Tuesday.
Amit Kumar, deputy commissioner of police (West), said, “The body was identified as of Jan Mohammed. People of the colony had inquired from the man’s wife about him. She had asked them to stay away from her family matter. She did not approach the police. The body was recovered with the help of locals. The man’s wife, Shahjahan Khatun, was detained and questioned sternly. She confessed to her crime and said that she along with her companion Dharmendra Paswan killed her husband.
