Rhododendron is the state flower of Nagaland (Binomial name - Rhododendron arboreum).


Anand Mahindra, recently expressed his admiration for a remarkable tree located in Nagaland through a post on the social media platform X, while re-sharing a post from X handle “Explore Nagaland” with a caption," Incredible beauty.Just waiting for us to discover it. "Standing 109 ft high at Mt. Japfu peak near Kohima, capital of Nagaland this is the tallest rhododendron tree in the world and holds the Guinness record for being the tallest rhododendron," the original post read, with the caption claiming it to be the tallest rhododendron tree in the world.
