Cong wants OBC quota for Muslims, plans to change Constitution: PM

Kolhapur: PM Narendra Modi on Saturday said Congress is planning to change the Constitution as it wants to extend the “Karnataka formula” of offering reservations to all Muslims in the country through the OBC quota.
“Congress is planning a dacoity on 27% OBC quota and plans to change the Constitution for this appeasement,” Modi said while addressing a huge campaign rally in Kolhapur for Mahayuti candidates.
Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde, deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis, RPI leader Ramdas Athawale also addressed the rally held for Shiv Sena candidates Sanjay Mandlik and Dhairyasheel Mane, who are contesting from Kolhapur and Hatkanangle, respectively.
Modi said Congress and INDIA bloc have their eyes set on wealth earned by common people, including women’s jewellery.
“The Congress shehzada is going to bring inheritance tax through which 50% of the wealth earned by you will be recovered. Your wealth will be distributed to those who, they (Congress) had once said, have the first right over India’s wealth,” Modi said, adding that Congress was thus planning to “murder the concept of social justice”.
He accused Congress and DMK of trying to create narratives to divide the country and said state govts in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu are openly speaking about carving out a separate nation for southern states.
