Another J’khand man booked in opium smuggling case
Ludhiana: The CIA of government railway police (GRP) has nominated another Jharkhand resident in a case of 15 kg opium recovery.
The accused whose name has been added to the case was identified as Gurudyal, 45, resident of Eithhe of Khunti district in Jharkhand.
On Feb 20, Satyadev Tiru, 30, of the same village was arrested with 15 kg opium at the railway station here and the GRP had termed it as its biggest catch so far.
The cops said he had smuggled over 80kg opium in his eight visits to the state. Cops said both the accused are partners and were smuggling opium in the state for the past few months. tnn
