Woman kills her sister’s husband
Rajkot: A fight over some issue resulted in the murder of a 45-year-old man who was bludgeoned to death by his estranged wife's sister in Surendranagar town late on Wednesday. The Chotila police booked the woman Sonu alias Sonki for killing her sister's brother Ramchandra alias Kaliya Pawar on Thursday on the complaint filed by their neighbour Pravin Dharajia.
Dharajia told police that he heard the duo fight bitterly on Wednesday night. He also saw a big stone in her hand. In the morning, he rushed to their house upon learning that Pawar was dead.
Investigating officer RM Sangada said, “The deceased and his sister-in-law were natives of Maharashtra. Pawar was working in Chotila as a labourer. We have also got to know that his wife had married someone else in Maharashtra.”
