HC seeks info on jail documents
Ranchi: The Jharkhand HC has sought information from the state about steps taken to preserve old documents kept in Hazarbag’s Loknayak Jai Prakash Narayan Central Jail. A division bench of Justices Rongon Mukhopadhyay and Deepak Roshan were hearing a petition initiated suo motu on condition of jails and their inmates in the state. The HC observed that certain documents from before 1911 were kept in the jail.
