In 2nd phase, 73 CM schools of excellence to appoint managers
Ranchi: The Jharkhand Education Project Council (JEPC) has issued a notification seeking applications for the appointment of managers in 73 chief minister schools of excellence (SOEs) across the state. This is the second phase of the recruitment drive with the first phase having taken place last month.
The move, the JEPC said, is aimed at bolstering operational efficiency in these schools.
Retired principals and vice-principals from various educational institutes and retired military personnel can also apply for these posts, whose application window will close on February 29.
“Diverse seats have been allocated to ensure inclusivity, with 26 seats for the unreserved category, and specific quotas for STs, SCs, OBCs, and economically weaker section candidates,” the JEPC officials said.
Once appointed, these managers will help foster optimal learning environment, overseeing infrastructure maintenance, managing finances, ensuring discipline and prioritising the safety of students and faculty members.
Jayant Mishra said, administrative officer of JEPC, said, “Since SOEs operate based on the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) model, the appointment process aligns with CBSE procedures. The appointed managers possess CBSE experience, enabling them to effectively manage the school and adhere to all regulations.”
