Two arrested for selling Tasmac liquor in black
Namakkal: Two people were arrested on Saturday for illegally seeling Tasmac liquor at inflated prices in black market in two separate incidents in the district.
The accused were identified as S Sakthivel, from Cuddalore, and S Arokiaraj, from Sivagangai.
They were apprehended when police conducted searches at Sanarpalayam and Karumbukkadu, following a tip off.

An officer said, “We confiscated liquor bottles worth 6,000 from Sakthivel and liquor worth 8,000 from Arokiaraj.”
Both the arrested were remanded in judicial custody and lodged at the Salem Central Prison in the evening.tnn
