Vadodara: The HSC board results declared by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Board on Thursday saw 82.5% of
students from the science stream in Vadodara district clear the exams.
The passing percentage in the general stream in the district was 85.23%. The result of the science stream was higher by 17% compared to 2023 while that of the general stream was higher by 18%.
From the Vadodara district including the city, 6,399 students appeared in the science stream out of which 5,264 students passed.
These included 67 students who passed in the A1 grade and 587 who passed in the A2 grade.
In the general stream examinations, the district had 14,658 students appearing in the examination. Out of these, 12,577 students cleared the exams. Those who passed the examinations included 146 in the A1 grade and 1,129 in the A2 grade.
In the science stream exam, the Fatehgunj centre had the highest result with 88.75% of students from schools in the centre clearing the exams. The highest result in the general stream was from the Pratapnagar centre from where 89.16% of students cleared the exams.
Among the schools in the city, Gujarat Public School registered 100% results in both streams. Tejas Vidyalaya also got a cent per cent result in the general stream. Utkarsh Vidyalaya registered a pass percentage of 93.44% in the science stream and 94.11% in the general stream.
