Sahil Khan has been detained in connection with the Mahadev case, which is linked to a Rs 15,000 crore fraud. Despite seeking pre-arrest bail, his plea was rejected by the High Court.
On April 18, Sahil provided his statements to the SIT. The SIT is probing illicit transactions and has summoned Tamannaah and Badshah. The Mumbai cyber cell is examining the bank accounts and electronic devices of 31 individuals.

He was now brought to Mumbai from Chhattisgarh.
Dressed in a black shirt and pink jacket, the actor was seen walking calmly toward the vehicle amid the frenzy of the media. When asked about his arrest, he said, "I believe in the judiciary of the country."

An investigation is underway involving Sahil Khan and 31 other individuals. Police procedures involve examining their bank accounts, mobile devices, laptops, and other technical devices as part of the inquiry.
As of now, one individual has been apprehended in connection with the case, with ongoing investigations, confirmed the official.

Renowned for his roles in films such as 'Style' and 'Excuse Me,' Khan was interrogated for over four hours by the SIT established for the
Mahadev betting app case on April 18, as per an official statement.

Earlier, actor Tamannaah Bhatia was summoned by the Maharashtra cyber cell regarding allegations of promoting the viewing of IPL matches on a subsidiary app of the Mahadev online gaming and betting platform. As per a senior police official, Bhatia is scheduled to appear before the Maharashtra cyber personnel on April 29.
The summons issued to Bhatia is connected to her alleged endorsement of watching Indian Premier League (IPL) matches on the Fairplay betting app, as stated by the official. It's alleged that certain IPL matches were unlawfully streamed on the app in 2023, according to a complaint filed in this regard.
