‘Boundaries in the entertainment industry have been diminished’Talking about the growth of the Indian film industry, Sonalee says, “We don’t categorise actors to specific regions anymore. The boundaries have diminished and it’s an amalgamation of everyone coming together to create brilliant content.” Ask her what type of role is on her wishlist and she replies, “I would love to do an action movie like
Kill Bill. Either that or a comedy where I get a funny script or one-liners. It’s rare to see actresses getting scripts that are actually funny.”
