Rana Daggubati says Prabhas starrer 'Kalki 2898 AD' will connect with worldwide audiences

'Kalki 2898 AD', helmed by director Nag Ashwin, will be a monumental release in Indian cinema, blending elements of mythology and science fiction. The film stars Prabhas in the lead role of the superhero Bhairava, promising an epic cinematic experience for audiences. After facing a few delays, it is now scheduled to release on June 27th.
In a recent interview reported by 123telugu, actor Rana Daggubati, a close friend of both the director and lead actor Prabhas, provided intriguing insights into the highly anticipated project.Daggubati revealed his long-standing friendship with Nag Ashwin and expressed his excitement about the film's global appeal. Rana Daggubati remarked, "The next big moment is Kalki. Not just India and the Indian diaspora, but everyone in the world will connect to Kalki."
He likened the film to a groundbreaking "Avengers moment" from the Indian film industry, highlighting its potential to captivate audiences worldwide. The actor also shed light on the film's promotional strategy, mentioning its presence at Comic-Con events to garner interest among fans, especially how Comic-Con is associated with pop culture and superhero entertainment content.
Addressing rumours about his involvement in the film, Daggubati clarified that he did not have an acting role in 'Kalki 2898 AD'. However, his appearances at promotional events sparked speculation among viewers.
During an event in Gurugram, Rana was seen along with director Naga Ashwin, where they spoke about the film. Ashwin shared the timeline of the film which will be of 6000 years, as the film begins from the era of Mahabharat and ends at 2898 AD.

'Kalki 2898 AD' cast includes Deepika Padukone as the female lead, along with industry veterans Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan in pivotal roles. Actress Disha Patani also features in a key role in the film.
