During matches, Preity is often seen throwing souvenirs at fans in the stadium and also talks to the broadcaster after the matches.
One such interaction is going viral on social media in which Preity tells about she had to make 120 aloo parathas for Punjab Kings cricketers.

Talking in Hindi, Preity says, "And I said I want to eat aloo paratha. The hotel served us a "marela, thakela, sadela" aloo paratha. So I said I'll teach you. So these boys (Punjab Kings cricketers) said if you make it for us. So I said it won't be like this, but if you win really well, I'll make it. And they won. So I said okay, and then I had to make around 120 aloo parathas for them."

Through the seasons, Preity has always been an avid supporter of her team.

Preity's involvement in the IPL has garnered attention not only for her team's performance but also for her enthusiastic support during matches. She's often seen cheering for her team from the stands and has become a prominent figure in the IPL franchise owner circle.
Preity's presence has added a touch of glamour and enthusiasm to the Punjab Kings franchise, and she is often seen as one of the more visible and involved team owners in the IPL. Her involvement in the IPL has also brought her into the spotlight as one of the prominent female franchise owners in the league.
With 2 wins from 5 games, Punjab Kings are at the eighth spot in the points table and face Rajasthan Royals at Mullanpur on Saturday.
