Souvenir shops flogging indigenous artworks and ‘authentic’ boomerangs and didgeridoos are a dime a dozen in Perth, but if you're serious about indigenous art, you’ll find it at the Indigenart—the Mossenson Gallery. That said, Western Australia's pre-eminent collection of national and indigenous artworks can be found at the Art Gallery of Western Australia including one of the world's finest collections of Indigenous art. Other notable collections are post-WWII works by internationally acclaimed Australian artists such as Sidney Nolan and Arthur Boyd, some beautiful watercolours painted around the state, and significant contemporary artworks.
