Perth isn’t particularly big on malls and if you prefer to get all your shopping done under one roof then head to Myers—the biggest departmental store in the city. And while you’re there check out the basement - occupying half of the bottom floor, the mood is entirely different to the rest of the store. Staff are dressed casually, it's dimly lit and there's a slightly grungy feel to it. Targeting those in their late teens to mid-thirties, it stocks younger brands at cheaper prices. If you prefer open-air affairs then head to the beachside Scarborough Fair Markets, where you’ll get your pick of Specialising in antiques, collectibles, curios and bric-a-brac. Follow it up with a spot of lunch, an afternoon chilling out on the beach, and then sunset drinks, for a typically Perth, perfect day out.
