Kaushambi aces her ‘Bride-to-be’ look on ‘Aiburobhat’; Flaunts mehendi ahead of her wedding

The big day has finally arrived! Actress Kaushambi Chakraborty is getting married to actor Adrit Roy on May 9. The popular Tollywood couple is tying the knot on Thursday and the pre-wedding rituals are already underway. Kaushambi recently shared her ‘Aiburobhat’ look on social media, just a day before her wedding. ‘Aiburobhat’ is the ritual where the bride-to-be is treated to an elaborate meal from her family and friends before she gets hitched.Kaushambi is seen in a magenta saree for the occasion. She sported minimal makeup and some gold and pearl jewellery with her saree. Kaushambi added a nath to her look giving it a Marathi touch. The bride-to-be is seen posing with a cake in hand for the pictures. She even shot a reel in her Aiburobhat look and shared the same on Instagram. She even shared a sneak peek of her mehendi on her Instagram story.


A couple of days ago, Adrit was seen enjoying his ‘aiburobhat’ with his friends and bandmates. Adrit was treated with aiburobhat meal by his friends who also happen to be the members of his band ‘Poster Boyz’. The bandmates posed for a picture after the pre-wedding treat and shared the photo on social media.

Adrit Roy and Kaushambi Chakraborty, the ‘Mithai’ co-stars are all set to take their wedding vows on May 9. Before they tie the knot on Thursday, Kaushambi and Adrit were seen together enjoying their ‘Aiburobhat’ recently. The popular actress on Bengali television took to Instagram to share a photo of her and Adrit during one of their ‘Aiburobhat’ ceremonies. Kaushambi is seen in a simple saree and the ‘mukut’ on her head, while Adrit sported a panjabi for the occasion. The couple is seen wearing garlands as well. The couple cut a cake and posed for the camera together with a bouquet.
Adrit and Kaushambi came close to each other while working in the popular Bengali daily ‘Mithai’. However, Adrit and Kaushambi’s rumoured affair did not have a smooth sail. Despite the hurdles, the couple stayed by each other’s side. After almost two years of dating, they are marrying each other this year.
A fan page of the ‘Mithai’ famed actor shared a glimpse of the wedding invitation card of Adrit and Kaushambi on social media a few weeks ago. For the wedding invitation card, the theme is pastel. On a beige base, ‘Kaushambi weds Adrit’ is written in red ink. On the other hand, the invitation card for the reception party is out too. Adrit and his family have started inviting guests for the big day. For the reception card, Adrit has chosen the colour palette of white and golden. Not just that, the popular face of Bengali TV has added a special souvenir, a miniature silver Ganesh idol, with the reception invitation card. After taking their wedding vows on May 9, Adrit and Kaushambi will be throwing a reception party on May 11.
