‘Phulki’ holds the top spot in rating charts; Where is ‘Jagaddhatri’ on the list?

The TRP list for the 18th week of 2024 is here and the ratings are quite surprising. For the second time in a row, ‘Neem Phooler Madhu’ has lost its top spot on the TRP list. Like last week, ‘Phulki’ has emerged as the topper on the TRP list. But the rating of the series has gone substantially down.
‘Phulki’ narrates the journey of a female boxer and how she navigates the ups and downs in her life trained by her mentor and emerges victorious.‘Phulki’ stars actress Divyani Mondal in the titular role. The ‘Netaji’ fame actor Abhishek Bose plays the character of the male protagonist, Rohit. Sharly Modak plays the antagonist Shalini, who is the former wife of Rohit. ‘Phulki’ is a passionate love story of a bright and mentally strong underprivileged girl and an ex-boxer who is trying to cope with his past trauma of disgrace and the burden of being responsible for his brother’s death.
‘Neem Phooler Madhu’ holds the second position on the TRP list. The popular Bengali daily had been sitting at the top position for the last few weeks. That reign broke this week. The Pallavi Sharma and Rubel Das led serial ‘Neem Phooler Madhu’ essays the story of a modern girl getting married into an orthodox family. Parna (female protagonist) and Srijan (male protagonist) get married in an arranged marriage setting and Parna finds it difficult to gel with her in-laws. The popular Bengali show recently took a five-year leap in its storyline and now revolves around the story of Parna and Srijan’s daughter Sriparna aka Puti.

The third spot on the TRP list has quite a surprise this week, as ‘Jagaddhatri' slipped from the third position after losing its crown to ‘Neem Phooler Madhu’ a couple of months back. ‘Geeta LLB’ has managed to come up to the third spot on the TRP list this week.
‘Geeta LLB’ is followed by ‘Kothha’ as the fourth place holder on the TRP list. The Saheb Bhattacharya and Susmita Dey-led TV show is growing steadily over the last few weeks.
‘Jagaddhatri’ has finally managed to find the fifth spot on the TRP list for this week. The show starring Ankita Mullick and Soumyadeep Mukherjee in lead roles recently introduced a new track of Jagaddhatri’s pregnancy in the storyline.
Shweta Bhattacharya and Ranojoy Bishnu starrer ‘Kon Gopone Mon Bhesheche’ has slipped to the sixth spot on the TRP list this week.
