Andy Cohen breaks silence on ‘hurtful' claims of Bravo exploitation
Andy Cohen is speaking out for the first time about the allegations made against him and Bravo by former Housewives stars. The executive producer of the Real Housewives franchise expressed to The Hollywood Reporter that the claims have been "hurtful" as he addressed the accusations from individuals like Bethenny Frankel, Leah McSweeney, NeNe Leakes, and Brandi Glanville, among others.
"It's never easy to be targeted," he mentioned.
"But I stand by my actions. I believe that every experience in life shapes the next one. I know my truth and how I've conducted myself, and I hold my head high every day."
Cohen, aged 55, emphasized his pride in the strong relationships he has cultivated during his two decades at Bravo, stating that he feels "most individuals involved in these shows have appreciated the platform."
Despite facing allegations of inappropriate behavior from former Bravo stars, including Glanville's claim of receiving an inappropriate recording from him in 2022, Cohen remains firm in his stance. Following Glanville's attorney's letter alleging sexual harassment by Cohen, he issued an apology on X (formerly known as Twitter) on the same day.
