Dorit Kemsley of RHOBH and her husband Paul 'PK' Kemsley have announced their separation after nine years of marriage

Dorit and Paul "PK" Kemsley, who have been married for nearly nine years, have announced their separation.
On May 9, the 47-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and the 56-year-old English billionaire announced their split in a joint statement posted to their Instagram Stories.
"We as a couple have been subjected to a lot of speculation about our marriage," the former couple stated."We have had our struggles over the last few years and continue to work through them as two people who love each other and share two amazing children together,"
“To safeguard our deep friendship and maintain a harmonious environment for our children we have made the mutual and difficult decision to take some time apart and reevaluate our relationship while we prioritize our children. We appreciate your love and support while we continue to do the work necessary throughout this journey," the statement concluded. "With love, Dorit and PK.”
Dorit and PK married in March 2015 and have two children together: daughter Phoenix and son Jagger. Their breakup comes after they rejected rumors about spending time apart in a statement to PEOPLE in October 2023.
"We remain committed to working through these issues as a united couple for our family," the Kemsleys stated at the time. "We have not parted, nor do we intend to do so. Rather, we are committed to mending, making changes, and doing the things that many couples must do at some point in their marriage."

In season 13 of RHOBH, the pair openly aired their marital issues. From Dorit's PTSD from their 2021 house invasion to PK's continual travel for work, the two faced their ups and downs in front of the camera.
Dorit stated during the show's March reunion episode that the two were able to make things better.
"After we wrapped [filming], things got progressively worse," she admitted. "And he and I were probably at an all-time bad." Dorit even admitted that PK had momentarily slept in a hotel, but claimed that the pair had ever lived "separate lives."
Despite "struggling" but "working through things," she stated that they were doing "better than ever" after he quit drinking to save their relationship.
"PK was drinking heavily, and he is a drinker. "I just think it's very difficult to have clear-headed conversations when he's drinking so much, so he gave up drinking," she grinned, adding that at the time of filming, PK had been clean for "49 days."
"That was a very pivotal moment, so things are — knock on wood — as good as they can possibly be," Dorit exclaimed.
