The Office gets new spinoff series starring The White Lotus’ Sabrina Impacciatore and Domhnall Gleeson

Fans of The Office, get excited! There's a new mockumentary on the horizon. Domhnall Gleeson and Sabrina Impacciatore, known for their roles in The White Lotus, will lead the new Peacock series, set to start filming in July, as announced by the streamer on May 8.
This unnamed comedy will follow the documentary crew that made Dunder Mifflin's Scranton branch famous, including Michael Scott, Jim Halpert, and Dwight Schrute, as they search for a new subject.The crew will stumble upon a struggling historic Midwestern newspaper and its efforts to revive with volunteer reporters, bringing a fresh office dynamic to the screen.
Lisa Katz, NBCUniversal Entertainment's President, mentioned, "It's been over a decade since The Office finale, yet the show's popularity endures, attracting new fans on Peacock." She highlighted the collaboration with Universal Television and the creative team of Greg Daniels and Michael Koman for this new series within the Dunder Mifflin universe, introducing a new set of characters in a comedic storytelling setting at a daily newspaper.
Jenna Fischer, known for playing Pam Beesly, confirmed that Daniels and Koman were developing a spinoff series, although she hadn't been approached about it yet. Fischer and other cast members have shown interest in revisiting Dunder Mifflin, a sentiment echoed by Daniels himself.
