For the past few days, Ali Sethi and Shae Gill’s Pasoori has been in the news as makers of Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani’s Satyaprem Ki Katha decided to remake the song for their film. Just the announcement was enough for netizens to go up in arms against the makers as they were sure the Bollywood will ruin a perfectly nice melody.

For the past few days, Ali Sethi and Shae Gill’s Pasoori has been in the news as makers of Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani’s Satyaprem Ki Katha decided to remake the song for their film.
Just the announcement was enough for netizens to go up in arms against the makers as they were sure the Bollywood will ruin a perfectly nice melody.

Soon after the announcement, one user wrote , “Well here bollywood steals another one....how to ruin a masterpiece ...n butcher it.” while another one wrote , “ Again Cut Copy Paste…..bollywood .”

On the other hand, there was a section of the audience who was very excited with the new version and wrote, “ If Arijit Sir is there then definitely the song and movie will be global hit!". Another fan wrote, "Okay so Arijit is singing this song. Great. Excited to listen how this version will be."
