Shelly-Ann Fraser was born in 1986. She is a two-time Olympic gold medal winner and has been a four-time world champion in the same event.
Apart from her success on the track, people also remember Ann Fraser for her distinct hairstyle and fashion sense.
She was named Jamaica’s ‘Sportswoman of The Year six times. Apart from this, she actively advocates for gender equality and education for women in Jamaica. She is widely called ‘The Greatest Sprinter of all time.
More recently, Olympic champion, Mo Farah, admitted in a talk show that he was defeated by a fellow parent wearing jeans in a 100 meters sprint at a school race.
Thus, it can be said that Shelly was trying to avoid this embarrassment. After the video went viral, several sports stars tweeted about their experience. Michael Duane Johnson, an American retired sprinter, recently expressed the anguish sports stars had to bear while in any race, saying “I'm John and I just beat Michael Johnson in a race. NOPE”.

According to reports, Fraser-Pryce is likely to start her season at the Botswana Golden Grand Prix which is this year’s second World Athletics Continental Tour Gold meeting. The event will take place in Gaborone on April 29. She concluded the last year with her win at her fifth world 100m title in Oregon.
